Activities Regular Gatherings The Shire of Blackwater holds fight practices every Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at War Veterans Park on East State Street, Olean. Everyone is invited to attend. Currently suspended for the winter. Shire business meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Olean Public Library at 6:00 p.m. The entire populace of the shire is encouraged and welcome to attend. Thrown Weapons practices are held Monday nights, weather permitting, beginning at 6:30 p.m. For directions, please contact the webminister. Currently suspended for the winter. Target Archery practices are held Tuesday nights, weather permitting, beginning at 6:30 p.m. For directions, please contact the webminister. Currently suspended for the winter.
